Business Developer

Marie Christien Boll joined SMK in January 2024. She is responsible for business development within SMK. In doing so, she will work intensively with all teams.

Marie Christien studied International Business Administration in Maastricht. During her studies, she gained international experience in the UK at Akzo Nobel, taking her first steps in working experience within retail. After her studies, she joined Ahold, where she gained work experience in many different roles (category management, sourcing, analyst) for Ahold’s various operating companies. Sustainability was always an important pillar in this. Other retailers where Marie Christien has been active include Blokker and Holland& Barrett. Here, supplier management, category management and promotion were the main working areas. And here, too, sustainability played an important role. In recent years, she worked at Prime Retail&Trade solutions, a company that develops software solutions to make retailers’ work on the 4 Ps (Price, Promotion, Place and Product) easier.

The common thread in her career is retail because of this she sees the opportunity to play a role at SMK towards the various stakeholders with her retail background.
